History:
Description:
(Note: I have only driven FR811B. Other descriptions are based on Google Earth.)
FR811, T-Pit, starts out as an easy road about a lane and a half wide. It follows Hoosier Creek immediately passing two camp sites above the creek. You will come to an intersection with FR811A (This on is on the South Platte district) to the right. Stay on FR811 by taking the left and crossing Hoosier Creek. You will head up into the forest passing a few more camp sites. At the top of the ridge you will come to another intersection. The left hand, FR811A (This one is on the South Park district) will take you down to an intersections with Guernsey, FR810. The right is the continuation of FR811. It will narrow up into a two track as it heads northwest along the ridge ending in a small aspen grove.

Going back to the first FR811A intersection and following this road you will continue up Hoosier Creek passing a camp site on the left and then crossing the creek. You will pass a few more camp sites before coming to a large intersection. Here there are two roads to the left. One is the continuation of FR811A, which is not shown on the MVUM. The one further left is Wahl, FR809. Taking the road on the right you will be on FR811B.

Forest Road 811B will head southeast along a low hill through the pines. The road is a two track that follows the Lininger Ditch, on the right side of the road. After a short distance you will pass a campsite and then come to a large open area with a directional arrow on a stone. The gated road to the right goes down to Lininger Lake and is probably for the ditch maintenance. You will have to go left heading northwest.

From here the road will head down through the pines toward Beaver Creek.

Once at Beaver Creek you can return the way you came, or cross the creek to connect with the Beaver Creek, FR123, road.
