Description:
Starting from the west end you will head across a small meadow on a two track.

The road will run along a hill with a few openings in the trees looking to the south. As the road levels out you will come to an intersection to the left, the Delonde, FR496, road which goes north into the forest for about 0.7 miles. Just past this intersection, is another road to the right going down hill to some old mines.

Continuing east on the main road you will start to head down hill through the forest. After crossing a waterbar the road will narrow a bit and get rougher as you drive over some eroded sections of road with exposed boulders.

Toward the bottom the road will improve a bit and make a right turn heading southeast, then back east. Next you will drive below a large house above the road. At the next intersection stay right, the left is the driveway for the house. Very shortly you will come to another intersection with a road comong in from the right, continue straight ahead. At the next intersection stay to the right, pass another house, and then you will connect with Boulder County Road 126. Take a right here to head out to the Peak to Peak Highway, Hwy 72.
