From Canon City, Co off of US Hwy 50
head north on Field Avenue for 3.0 miles. Turn right onto Cnty Road 9,
Red Canyon Road, and go 3.6 miles. Stay to the left to stay on Cnty
Road 9 and go 2.9 miles. Turn left to stay on Cnty Road 9 and go 3.2
miles. Take the right hand road to start the Shelf Road.
From Cripple Creek, CO take Cnty Road 67 south for 0.3 miles and then
turn right onto Xenia Street. This is Teller Cnty Road 88 which becomes
the Shelf Road.
