Camping: There is one dispersed site at the start of the road.
Base Camp: This would be a good area to base camp and explore the roads off of Rock Creek Hills road.
Fall Colors: Poor - Mostly Pine forest.
Navigation: From Jefferson, CO. head north-east on US Hwy 285 for 1.2 miles. Turn right onto Lost Park Rd County Road 56, and go 5.2 miles. Turn right onto Rock Creek Hills Rd and go 2.2 miles. Slight left and go 1.0 mile. Turn right and go 338 feet. Turn right and go 0.1 miles. Turn left and go 0.8 miles. At the intersection continue straight, (left) to start Tree Digger 4WD road.

Description:
Tree Digger is an easy 4WD road that heads east from the Rock Creek Hills Road following a gentle wide gulch toward Rock Creek. The road runs through the open valley with no real obstacles. Just before you come to the private property fence you will pass the intersection with Exclosure, FR826.
